The poet says that feelings “are often so deep that they wound us, but they don’t hurt us”. In Todo esto es tuyo [All of this is yours] by Isabel Contestí (Palma, 1946), she plunges into the abysses of the soul to rescue all of the experiences that erode, wear us down and wound us, yes, but which also transform. It is in this way, feeling after feeling, that this unfinished version of herself is gradually polished, brave and foolish, fiery and not very mocking, always changing, but never hurt.
